The city is updating the Land Development Code (LDC) which contains the rules for development and re-development. The city has contracted with the consulting team Clarion Associates to overhaul the 20-year-old code.
At this work session, Council will focus on: rentals of detached guest houses, permeable paving for parking, architectural style and character, prohibited lighting types, and alternative density based on unit size.
The Council will ultimately consider adoption of the updated LDC at a hearing currently scheduled for Wednesday, November 14 at 3:00 p.m.
